Synopsis: Victor and Machito were best friends growing up and were heavily involved in the underground salsa scene. Separated as teenagers after the death of Victor's father, Victor leaves New York. The passion for dance and music however, never leaves him. After returning years later, he seeks out his childhood buddy Machito, whom he discovers has followed in his father's fatal footsteps.

Synopsis: Two Puerto Rican brothers from New York's Spanish Harlem are the street's best salsa dancers. Separated after a family tragedy they find themselves on opposing sides of gentrification upon their reunion. The story is set against a backdrop of authentic salsa music and dance. The film was nominated for best choreography.
