EXPERIENCE
Eileen has over 30 years of experience in creating, planning, and executing memorable, fun, and educational cultural programs. She was selected for the Smithsonian Institution Celia Cruz Exhibit planning committee. She was contracted to hire musicians and promote the Jazz Café at the National Museum of American History.
She designed dozens of events for Artisphere, a multiple-disciplinary arts venue. She has provided dance lessons to hundreds of people at a time on multiple occasions at the Millennium Stage, and Dancing on the Terrace at the Kennedy Center, Smithsonian’s Folk Life Festival, and the National Folk Festival in five states.
Meeting and special events planning experience includes annual national conference logistics, meals, entertainment, etc. and coordinating an annual Congressional Awards Gala.
